Rosie Dub is the author of two novels, Flight (Fourth Estate 2012) and Gathering Storm (Penguin Australia 2008), currently being developed as a feature film. She has recently completed Between Worlds, a sequel to Flight and is working on the third book in the trilogy. Rosie has also written and published short stories, essays and life writing in anthologies, magazines, newspapers and literary journals. In 2012 Rosie was awarded a PhD in creative writing from Swinburne University for her research into the creative process and the function and purpose of story, particularly in relation to personal development.

Rosie has worked as an editor, a mentor and a teacher of creative writing for more than fifteen years. During this period she has edited and assessed manuscripts ranging across many genres of fiction and non-fiction. Her creative writing teaching has been conducted through the writer’s centre in Hobart, UTAS, TAFE, Adult Education and private workshops. She also teaches on the online MA in Writing program at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia. Rosie has recently returned to Hobart after working for four years in the UK as Creative Writing Fellow at Aberystwyth University where she supervised PhD students and taught on the MA program.

Rosie has recently facilitated a fantastic series of four workshops titled, The Alchemy of Story. Each session is a full day of writing and learning, each focussing on a different aspect of craft and ways to harness creativity. Her final workshop will be taking place in April 2018.
