Kerry Howells writes in the area of gratitude and its place in the fields of leadership, teaching, indigenous education, and academic learning. Her book Gratitude in Education: A Radical View narrates the challenges posed by a suggested focus on gratitude, and how teachers in a variety of contexts find a way through these to source the enormous capacity of gratitude to build resilience and flourishing relationships.
To date, a total of 18 book clubs have especially formed to focus on Kerry’s book as part of their professional and personal learning, the most recent group being academics at the Queensland University of Technology.
