Kanako Okiron

My name is Kanako Okiron and I am a 15 years old self-published author from Hobart, Australia, of Japanese-Australian descent. My debut novel Not Like in the Movies is available now.

I have been writing fiction and drawing since I was three years old. I have attended school but as of this year I am now homeschooled. Homeschooling has definitely played a huge part in my story writing and creativity, something that traditional schooling could have never given me.
