
Verity Croker writes across a range of genres. Her most recent publication is May Day Mine, a young adult novel, released by Harmony Ink Press in the US. Her stories for 8-12 year olds, Cyclone Christmas and Block City, have been published by Sunshine Books/Wendy Pye, New Zealand.
She has written travel articles for the RACT magazine Journeys, and also has had articles published in The Canberra Times, NT News and Sunday Mail. Her story My Blue Baby, about her beloved Corolla, was exhibited at the Toyota Community Spirit Gallery in Melbourne. Some of her short stories appear in journals and competition anthologies, including the 2015 Forty South Short Story Anthology, and on ABC online. She is also a published poet.
Verity completed her Master of Arts (Specialisation: Creative Writing) at UTAS in 2013, and works at UTAS in Hobart, teaching English to international students.
